The sixth edition of the conference organized by the Lions Club Nizza-Canelli as part of the initiative “Lions for clean and sustainable agriculture” will be held on March 1st at 9 am at the Foro Boario in Nizza Monferrato.

This year’s theme, “Learning from crises to design the future of viticulture” , will offer an important opportunity to discuss the main vine pathologies that, in the last decade, have put the Piedmontese wine economy to the test.

The meeting will address the problem of the spread of phytoplasmas and diseases of the vine wood, phenomena that are putting wine companies in difficulty, especially in the areas with the highest quality vocation.

The event, with free admission, is aimed at winemakers, field technicians, students, professionals in the wine sector, public administrators and mayors.
