AVIPE’s core business is on grapevine consultancy. It supports about 5000Ha from 350 farmers and its mains activities are related to integrated pest management, irrigation, fertilizations, training vineyards and investment project implementation.

Besides these activities, AVIPE has a major role in investment projects specially in vineyards plantations, irrigation plans and acquisition of machinery and other equipment.

We also have an important role in farmers education specially in pesticides application and tractor driving.

Since 2018, AVIPE has been involved in EU projects from different programs. Along with this responsibility, it was also implemented a demo farm where we perform demonstration activities and trials. To achieve a better engagement, farmers are invited to participate on field days. This demo farm main goal to apply the research on vineyards that come from universities or research centres. AVIPE also performs microvinifications to understand the impact of the trials on the wines or just to study new varieties.

AVIPE is involved in all WP with a special impact on WP3. It will lead Task 5.2. “Participatory field training » (M12- M36) where main tasks are related to promote (to be task will aim to promote peer-to-peer learning and focus on demonstration activities as a toll to enhance wide dissemination of results.
