Under Work Package 3 – Task 3.3 of the Shield4Grape project, our partners AUTH (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Hellenifera carried out a sampling activity in the vineyards of Nemea, Greece.

During this activity, leaf samples were collected from grapevines treated with green chemistry products. The goal is to assess how these treatments influence the microbial communities present on the leaves.

This is an essential step toward developing sustainable, biodiversity-friendly Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, in line with the project’s vision for more sustainable and environmentally responsible viticulture.
