Shield4Grape was showcased by our partner Agrenaos, at the EU CAP Network Brokerage Event, held in Prague, bringing together over 190 participants from across Europe.
This high-level event, titled “Partnering for Innovation with Impact in Agriculture and Rural Areas”, focused on fostering collaboration and supporting the development of high-quality proposals for the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (2025) calls. Participants explored innovation opportunities in key areas such as digital technologies, sustainable crop and livestock production, circular water and soil management, and new business models and value chains. The event also highlighted additional funding sources like the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Institute of Technology (EIT), the European Innovation Council (EIC), aimed at scaling up and expanding existing innovations to create more competitive, sustainable, and resilient agricultural and rural systems.
The Shield4Grape poster presentation highlighted the project’s core objectives -enhancing grapevine resilience and promoting sustainable viticulture – and served as a catalyst for productive discussions with fellow researchers, practitioners, and policy actors. The event provided a valuable platform for identifying synergies and exploring future collaboration and scaling opportunities.
